Introduction - v1.0 beta
The Greyfinch API provides a GraphQL API interface into the Greyfinch ecosystem.
This API is in currently in beta and is likely to change as we iterate over the coming months.
Once you have a valid personal access token to access an organisation's data, you will have access to that organisations structure and the patients that belong to it. With patients, you can access to treatments, appointments, documents and images.
The GraphQL API has a single schema with only Queries accessible at present. As the API develops, we will add mutations (updates) to objects. Let us know if you're interested in accessing real-time data using GraphQL subscriptions. We will support events but it might be in the shape of webhooks or streams.
Greyfinch Connect - the future
The Greyfinch public API is only one part of what we are calling Greyfinch Connect, which represents a significant leap forward for integration and automation in orthodontics, marking the beginning of a new era for Greyfinch. It sets the stage for a more integrated and extensible platform, simplifying operations and enriching patient care, something we're very excited about creating.
